What information is collected and why?
Website
No personal information is processed through the website.
Information received from you via email is only used to reply to your questions and enquiries, and to co-ordinate workshops and expeditions with Emma Holland Mountain Training (EHMT). Your “identity” and “contact” information is stored. Identity includes information such as first name, last name, title, date of birth, and other identifiers that you may have provided. Your contact information includes information such as home address, email address, telephone numbers and any other information you have given for the purpose of communicating or meeting.
Personal information relating to your participation in workshops or expeditions would be retained while those activities are ongoing, and for a limited period thereafter for the purposes of record keeping. The only emails sent are in connection with workshops and expeditions which you have expressed an interest in. You will not receive emails for any other reason.
Expedition bookings are handled by EHMT’s booking system, not Camp 404, and are subject to the terms and conditions and privacy policy described on the EHMT website.
What about Cookies?
Cookies are small snippets of data that browsers store on your computer on behalf of websites that you visit. Most websites use first-party cookies to provide basic functionality and improve user experience. The most commonly used web browsers automatically accept cookies, though you do not have to. We do not use Google Analytics or any other package to track activity or compile usage information. The Camp 404 website is hosted by Wix and they use the following cookies to enable core website functionality.

Other than for the purpose of co-ordinating expeditions with EHMT, your personal information is not knowingly shared with any third party without your permission, except as required by law.
